ROSIE CAN RUN (4) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a nice race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 6½f at Pinjarra Scarpside, finishing third and beaten a neck. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GLOBAL TRIP (3) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led into the straight before faded out of it, finishing fourth over 1m1f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Will take catching. PHAT CHAPS (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 6½f at Northam, beaten only 1. 3 lengths. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. ACROSS GENERATIONS (8) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Kalgoorlie, beaten 3 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
