JUST WALTER JOHN (4) is back at the races for the first time since March 7. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Ascot. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. XENTARO (1) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 5f at this track as favourite. That continued the solid form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from six outings. Leading player again. DESERT ORA (7) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6f43yards at Albany, getting home by 1. 75 lengths. Winning rider Natasha Faithfull retains the mount. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task. ZOURUN RUN (3) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track with success over 5f at this track a week ago, getting home by one length. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
