I'M ODETTE (6) opened this prep two weeks ago and scored over 6½f at this track, getting home by a neck. Has an imposing record of two wins from three starts. Key runner. GOD'S GRIN (8) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 6f at Pinjarra when resuming after a lay-off. Goes very well at this journey, boasting two wins from four starts and will be ready to run a big race. AYUMI (9) ran a strong third over 1m at Pinjarra two runs back then was below her best last time over 1m1/4f when sixth, beaten 4 lengths. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so capable of a return to form. TON OF GRUNT (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing ninth at this track over 7f. Has the class to produce a better result.
