CRYPTIC JOY (8) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Ascot over 5½f last time, finishing ninth and beaten 3. 5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. DE GRANDHOMME (3) finished third when resuming two runs back at this track then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1. 3 lengths as public elect over 5½f at Geraldton. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
