SUNLIT FRESCO (11) was in contention on the turn and finished 1.75 lengths away from the winner in third when resuming last start at Pinjarra over 5f Form over this journey is strong, boasting three wins from six starts. Will find this tougher but should be in the finish. KRAKEN TIME (9) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Ascot. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. KELVINATER (3) ran a better race last start, finishing 1.5 lengths away in fourth over 7f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Better than recent efforts suggest.
