LORD SHIVA (2) resumed over 5f at Ascot last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. HEZANGELIC (1) returned from a break last start with an all-the-way win over 5f at Pinjarra Scarpside, getting home by 1.4 lengths. Sure to run well again. PRECAST (7) settled back but wound up late to finish fifth when resuming last start over 5f at Ascot. Right in the mix. SOLAR SYSTEM (4) is back at the races for the first time since December 4. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
