TON OF GRUNT (1) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 7f at Northam. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. KHUTOS (6) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a nice race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 6½f at this track, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. SIMPLY THINKIN' (2) broke through for a deserved win last time at Northam after filling a minor placing at the first three starts this campaign. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove tough to stop.
