HIT THE LIGHTS (5) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m2 1/2f at this track last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than her eighth at Bunbury the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DESERT EDGE (2) is a last-start winner over 1m3f at Northam, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by 0.9 lengths. Among the chances again. BUCKLAND (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at this track. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
