HAPPY AS LARRY (1) turned in a fine effort to win by a long neck at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. KINGS SALUTE (6) was well in commission last start over 6f at Pinjarra when sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Harder here but a bold showing is expected. HOBA METEOR (2) has been kept fresh since she resumed last start and proved too strong, scoring by a nose over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Open to plenty of improvement and can go on with it. HISTORY WON'T CARE (5) broke his maiden last start over 7f at Pinjarra, scoring by a head. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with William Pike who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
