BLAKEMORE AVENUE (8) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 5f at Gold Coast. Should be near her peak for this. Nicely placed to play a major role. BRING ME SAKI (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 2 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to get the prize. I'M ZAC (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 4. 5 lengths into sixth over 6f at Eagle Farm. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
