PETITE PALACE (16) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 6f at Eagle Farm. Kept ticking over subsequently with a trial win at Beaudesert. Expected to measure up on best form. HIDDEN MELODY (1) registered a strong win at Gold Coast two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in the firing line on the bend before finishing fifth over 5½f at Ipswich, beaten 1.1 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. HUMPHREE BEAR (4) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Murwillumbah two starts back then scored by 0.7 lengths last time out over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Nicely placed to go back-to-back.
