DESERT LEGEND (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Sunshine Coast Poly, finishing second and only a nose from the winner at the end of 7f after being in contention on the bend. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SHALMUM (14) is resuming from a break of five months for a new stable after finishing seventh over 1m at Sapphire Coast at her latest outing. Generally runs well when fresh, recording three minor placings from three runs. Should feature in the finish. RAINBOW LASS (10) recorded her first win last start over 5f at Casino, getting home by one length. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. ALL ABOUT ARTIE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 7½f at Warwick. Finds a nice race and can secure another top-three finish.
