MALTALI (1) settled well back last start and made little impact in the straight when ninth, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at Gatton. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. WARRIOR CHIEF (8) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 4 lengths away in third over 5½f at Murwillumbah. Will take catching. GALLERY MASTER (9) went forward last start over 6f at Kilcoy and held on well for second, beaten 1.1 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. TAPIS MAGIQUE (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Ipswich over 6f. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
