PEACEFUL PRINCE (20) hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Newcastle over 6f two months ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Top contender and can take this out. GOLD ACADEMY (5) is returning from a lay-off of seven months. Finished fifth at Wyong over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kelly Schweida. Fitter for a fifth in a recent trial over 5f at Doomben. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. KOBE ASCOT (6) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish seventh, beaten 3 lengths, last start over 5f at Toowoomba. Another bold showing is expected. DISCOTHEQUE (2) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 5f32yards at Grafton. This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer.
