PATTERA (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2 lengths back in fourth over 6½f at Dubbo. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. GEOSTORM (5) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 7f at Sapphire Coast, beaten 10 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. MORE VOLTAGE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths into fifth. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. AGE OF AQUARIUS (4) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 5½f at Armidale, scoring by a nose. Will be better for that latest run and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
