Race Tip

SHIRVINGTON (20) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 1.1 lengths over 6f at Wyong. Will be tough to rein in again. HIGH BLUE SEA (18) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 2 lengths from the winner in third over 6¾f at Doomben. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. MISS EMMA (10) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 6½f at Canberra, finishing second and beaten half a length after being prominent at the turn. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to figure in the finish. ROCK EMPIRE (19) finished off last campaign with a 13th at Kembla Grange and has been gelded during the break. Fitter for placing in a recent Randwick trial. Rates an each way chance here.
