KIRK (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when ninth over 7f at Wagga six weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. KOBOLD (8) was doing her best work late last start to get up for third over 7f at Wellington. Fair record at this trip with a win and two placings. One of the main contenders. LET RIP (10) was beaten 5.5 lengths into ninth over 7f at Dubbo eight days ago. No surprise to see him in the frame.
