Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. STRAIGHT FIRE (4) raced on the speed and kept going to score by 0.7 lengths last time out over 1m3/4f at Canberra Acton. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. YAK (6) started at 6/1 last time on the back of a win at Dubbo two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 1m4f at Warren after being in contention on the corner. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Likely improver with strong prospects. CHEBICI (10) won at Sapphire Coast two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing seventh over 1m at Goulburn. Nicely placed to bounce back.
