TOKYO ICE (3) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 5f at Canberra when she was in the firing line all the way. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is right in contention. MISSILE MAIDEN (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f65yards at Queanbeyan, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Likely improver with strong prospects. POPPY'S GIRL (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 6f at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. NASTY STREAK (4) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at this track last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
