BASILETTE (9) secured a 5L victory at this venue over 1m3 1/2f last week when not particularly fancied in the market. Must carry a weight penalty but evidently in good order. Strong credentials. CLOUDY ROSE (6) was successful twice last summer at around this distance. Not disgraced in fourth latest at Beverley. Dropped to an appealing mark. Needs considering. CAPTAIN BRETT (1) is difficult to win with. Should step forward for reappearance at Southwell last month. Worthy of respect in this grade. BIG WIN (2) has yet to set the world alight but makes seasonal return for a shrewd new yard. Entitled to be involved.
