SOMESPRING SPECIAL (4) arrives here off the back of a superb display of jumping at Newton Abbot three weeks ago. Firmly the one to beat while maintaining this form. TWIG (1) finished tailed off in the G3 Grand National at Aintree during April having lost his position in the second half of the race. This is easier and warrants respect. CRUZ CONTROL (2) now wears cheekpieces for the first time having disappointed after travelling okay at Aintree last month. Interesting back down in grade. MARS HARPER (3) remains well exposed. Holds some classy form while not disgraced competing at Fakenham last time out.
