CIRCLING (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Bairnsdale, beaten 4.5 lengths into tenth after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CENT TO WAR (8) has been in great form recently, the latest effort a dominant win by 5 lengths over 1m at Woolamai. Winning rider Shaun Cooper retains the mount. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. TURF DRAW (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1m2f at Pakenham, beaten 12 lengths into 12th. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. ACHAEUS (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Bairnsdale, finishing third and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m. Sure to be in the mix.
