AUSTRALASIA (5) finds it hard to win with just one success from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths. Has the talent to get the job done. TOO HOT TO TORQUE (1) is back from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 6f contest at Lismore by 4. 5 lengths. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Best form puts him right in this. DANCE GAVIN DANCE (2) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 3 lengths over 5f at this track. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. AMORUSO (4) ran a better race last start, finishing half a length away in fifth over 5f at Port Macquarie. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
