LAUNCHER (4) broke his maiden last start over 7f at Grafton, scoring by a head. Karl Zechner was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. No reason he cannot get the job done again. PASS THE PEAK (8) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0. 7 lengths over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Winning rider Brandon Lerena sticks and he cannot be underestimated. ANDROS (1) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 7f148yards at Lismore. Yvette Lewis stays on. Certainly one to consider. CHIEF OF STAFF (3) ran a better race last start, finishing 5. 5 lengths away in fifth over 1m1f at Gold Coast. No surprise to see him in the mix.
