SHELLY'S ACE (7) finished out of the money two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 6 lengths when fifth over 5f at Gold Coast a week ago. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind her. AUSTRALASIA (1) recorded her maiden win four back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Murwillumbah. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to stop. BEITSOO (5) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on November 4, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly. One to consider. GREAT ANGLES (9) is back at the races for the first time since November 4. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Wondai. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
