TOPHET (3) is resuming from a lay-off of five months and having his first run for the Matthew Dunn yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Moe over 5f. Fitter for a fifth in a recent trial over 5f at Eagle Farm. Hard to beat despite the layoff. AGENT MAX (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 5f at Taree last time, getting there by 2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tricky draw to overcome but he is a great chance to go back-to-back. MONACO FLYER (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2. 25 lengths when fifth over 5f130yards at Lismore a week-and-a-half ago. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. AUSTRALASIA (6) accounted for a maiden field over 5f at this track last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
