MONARCH EXPRESS (13) was in the money when resuming at Grafton then could only manage fifth last time out over 6½f at Lismore. Capable of a return to form. GOLD PUMA (11) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 6½f at Lismore after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SMART RECOGNITION (3) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish eighth over the same trip at Gold Coast. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FIFTH FORCE (2) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when eighth over 1m1f at Eagle Farm, beaten 4 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
