GURU CLASS (6) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 27 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 7f21yards at Grafton, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. GREY IMPACT (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth after being in contention on the bend. Won't find this as tough so she is perfectly placed to score. MONTE MAXIMUS (2) finished 3.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 6f at Port Macquarie two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to stop. YALLA (9) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 6f at Port Macquarie. Can give a tremendous sight again.
