ROSANGELA (5) placed when resuming at Seymour but could only manage seventh last time, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f on turf at Caulfield. First try on synthetic. Tough to beat. STARBURST (6) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 4 lengths at Sale over 5f after being in contention on the bend. Has the talent to figure prominently. WHITSON (8) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 0. 8 lengths over 5f at this track last time out. Yet to miss the placings here at this trip, including three wins. One to consider. ETERNAL JOY (10) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5f at this track, scoring by 1. 3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Teo Nugent who was on board last start. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
