CALL ME MAURA (2) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Swan Hill when second, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Nicely drawn so she should be in the finish again. APACHE SUNRISE (1) finished tenth when resuming at Geelong two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Stawell, beaten 2. 25 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SOMETHING WHITE (9) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 3. 5 lengths back in third over 5f at Seymour. This is a nice drop in grade so she will be hard to beat. FINNISH GIRL (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6f at Geelong. Nicely placed to take this out.
