BIG SISTER AVA (10) finished one length from the winner in second on debut last start over 1m at Kilmore. Drawn well close to the inside so she shouldn't be a maiden for long. EPOCH (2) was thereabouts last time out when third at Mortlake over 6½f, beaten one length. Should be at his peak now. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but he should run well. GOOD LORDY ME (4) made progress last start to finish second over 1m at Bairnsdale. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. SIAM EMERALD (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Echuca, beaten half a length. Fitter for that run. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
