ESPINHO (3) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at this track, most recently beaten 1.3 lengths into third over 6f at Mornington when he was prominent throughout. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. FROSE (9) finished fourth last start over 5f at Ballarat Synthetic after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. NASRAAWY (2) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh over 5½f at Bendigo last time out. Can bounce back. STAR RAPPER (4) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 5½f at Wodonga, beaten 1.75 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
