DEVOUT RULER (1) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish eighth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at Pakenham Synthetic. Well placed and will take some running down. SUNFLOWER LIV (11) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in ninth over 6½f at Bendigo. Has the ability to take this out. GRUNT FOR GLORY (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Swan Hill, beaten 15 lengths into ninth. Capable of featuring prominently.
