IL CUBO (1) is backing up quickly after finishing in the money at Pakenham Synthetic over 6f just eight days ago. Nice run last time and will be hard to beat. MAXIMUM POWER (2) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second when resuming last start over 6f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. OLATUNDE (6) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win when resuming last time out over 5½f at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Damian Lane was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. NORDIC (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 7f at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around.
