BETTER SHAPE UP (2) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 5f at this track. Should be winding up late again. AQUEDUCT (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Great Western. Placed in a recent trial. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. BREECHES (5) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish fourth over 5½f at Sale. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. FINNISH GIRL (6) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 13 lengths into 11th at her latest appearance over 1m at Swan Hill. Will find this a little tougher but is too good to overlook.
