EVAPORATE (8) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on March 9 and finished eighth behind Traffic Warden over 7f in the G2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington. This looks a more suitable assignment. PRIVALOVA (11) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5f at Bendigo, finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths. Big chance based on that effort. ROLL ON BIG RED (3) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic after being prominent at the turn. Stepping up a level this time but he is one of the key runners. SUMMER NIGHT (4) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 5½f at Kyneton. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Bendigo trial. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
