Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. MAGADAN (5) got well back over 1m2 1/4f at Moe last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 7 lengths away in eighth. Likely improver with strong prospects. GUNNAFLY (7) raced on the speed last time but faded to finish sixth over 1m2f at Wangaratta. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but should be competitive. FROM THE BASEMENT (4) got the prize two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when ninth over 1m2f at Edenhope, beaten 6 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
