Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. IMPENDING DIAMOND (3) is a course and distance winner three back then struggled in two runs in town since. Will find this easier and expected to feature. SPANDEX (4) is resuming from a break of 11 weeks for a new stable after finishing ninth over 7½f at Port Macquarie at his latest outing. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from four runs. Should feature in the finish. COSTLESS (1) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 6f at Port Augusta, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Port Augusta at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
