ISLA'S FURY (7) tackled city class latest when eighth at Morphettville, finishing 3. 5 lengths from the winner. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Well placed so expecting a strong run. MERCURY EIGHT (3) was below his best last time when seventh after being prominent at the corner over 5½f at Murray Bridge, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back. LAKEHURST (11) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6f at Strathalbyn, an improvement on his sixth at Gawler the run before. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MAGIC FIELD (1) lost narowly when second over 4½f at Mt Gambier last time but starting to prove costly. Rates well on recent run and is an each way hope again.
