FLAMING NAVY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. UTAH (2) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m at Strathalbyn, scoring by 2. 75 lengths. Re-unites with Jason Holder who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. MAGIC PRINCESS (5) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 7½f at Gawler, finishing 3 lengths back in eighth. Has her share of ability and can do a lot better.
