OUTPOST (1) finished ninth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5¼f at this track, beaten only 0.7 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. MERCURY EIGHT (4) went forward last start over 5¼f at this track and held on well for third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should be close to the speed despite the draw. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SIR LEAPALOT (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 5f at Morphettville Parks. Good enough on his day and can run a bold race.
