LAKE AGAWAM (1) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 5¼f at Oakbank. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. LORD MORTON (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fifth in a 5¼f contest at Oakbank two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CROWN MOSHE (12) turned things around last start and scored by 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 5½f at Bordertown. Meets some better types this time but another win beckons. GRAFTON AVENUE (14) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Mt Gambier over 6f. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
