ALPHA FLIGHT (1) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Port Lincoln over 5f, beaten 0.7 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but is among the leading chances. MAY'S WEST (7) was prominent from the outset when third over 5¼f at this track last time out. Has a good record here at this journey. Should camp just off the leaders. Among the leading chances. O'WHATAPICTURE (5) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 5f at Mildura, finishing fourth and beaten half a length after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SHIKANIC (3) had been racing consistently with two minor placings on end prior to finishing seventh most recently over 5f at Morphettville Parks. Back to the track at which he finished third two runs back. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Don't underestimate.
