ORTIGIAN GIRL (11) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic, beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SHE'S A BEAUTY (12) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in fourth over 7½f at Ballarat four months ago. Sharpened for this with a recent trial win. Looks set for a bright return. DOC'S NIPPER (2) is a gelding by Squamosa out of Doc's Hero making his first appearance. Impressed in winning a trial at Pakenham with this rider Celine Gaudray aboard. Can measure up at first outing. YOUARENOTALONE (7) was well in commission on his debut over 5f at Echuca back on October 20 and finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement.
