RUGGED ROOSTER (1) is close to a win after a string of recent placings, the latest when second over 5½f at this track. Goes well at this distance including two wins so a well-deserved win is on the cards. MINI GLAZED DONUT (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten 2. 25 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. TWOLEFTTOLOAD (2) turned in a better run last time when she worked home well to finish second over 7½f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Steps up a level but she is capable of running a bold race. PICKIN' RIFFS (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track over 7½f after racing in the leading division. Well placed and can run a better race.
