CALL THE CAVALRY (6) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Craig Robert Smith yard. Resumes after finishing ninth at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) at his last run four-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can return in winning form. BROOKLYN ALLEY CAT (1) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths at Fonner Park (Dirt) over 6½f. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. BIG WALK (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on October 8, finishing fourth and beaten 8 lengths over 5½f at this track. Definite top-three chance. MAKENA'S JOY (3) resumes from a lay-off of seven months after closing off last campaign with three consecutive minor placings. Shapes as one to consider.
