BLACKTECA (1) was well fancied when resuming but found one better at this track, finishing 1.5 lengths adrift at the end of 5f. Will appreciate the extra ground. Should be about the money. SPIRE (6) returns from a layoff of eight months. Scored over 5½f at this track at the start of last prep. Lines up. For the first time for trainer sherry laing. Has to be respected.
