DEFENCE MINISTER (14) had been gelded prior to winning a Kempton Park 7f contest by 1L back in March. Keeping fresh for this assignment and is drawn in stall one. Not without a chance having James Doyle back on board. MUDBIR (16) was in the process of making smooth progress last season before disappointing in first time cheekpieces at Goodwood during August. Will need to be at his best to win but is stoutly bred. STORM FREE (27) was well supported at Newmarket three weeks ago when sixth. Worth giving another chance. TRIBAL CHIEF (19) ran well on his return when third in the Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster. Rates highly.
