CABALLUS (2) used the rails draw to good effect last start, bouncing straight to the lead and scoring an all-the-way win over 6f in the G1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington. JIGSAW (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by half a length over 6f in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Caulfield. Far easier assignment this time around.
