BEAU'S A LAD (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 5f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. RIPPER FAROOQ (1) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 5f at this track. This is a nice drop in grade so he is sure to be prominent. GINGERBREAD GIRL (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. SLIP THE JAB (4) broke his maiden last start over 5f at Belmont Park when resuming, scoring by one length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Chris Parnham was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
